SalaryEstimator required. Our client is a well-established manufacturer of sheet metal products based in the Thetford area. Due to continued success and growth of the business they are seeking an Estimator with exposure to a manufacturing environment, to join the team.
The successful candidate will be assisting the implementation of an MRP system, whilst collating information to produce a standardised quotation system.
Estimator - Manufacturing Position Overview
- Gathering information on production times, material costs and resource requirements to produce a standardised pricing structure with the use of an MRP system
- Providing quotes to customers from off-plan drawings / specifications
- Managing customer orders and updating the system with order requirements
- Assisting the development of the accounts system
Estimator - Manufacturing Position Requirements
- Previous experience within a manufacturing environment
- 2+ years of experience within an estimating related role
- Based in a commutable distance of Thetford
- Previous experience with an MRP system
- Good commercial acumen
- Proficient with MS Office suite
Estimator - Manufacturing Position Remuneration
- Salary £25,000 - £35,000 depending on experience
- Monday to Friday, full-time, permanent position
- Holiday allowance and pension
