SalaryEstimator or Senior Estimator Wanted for an established and expanding Engineering company due to ongoing success:
- Full-time (temporary to permanent) opportunity based on the outskirts of Southampton.
- Basic annual salary range GBP32,000 to GBP40,000 (inclusive of Bonus).
- Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm.
- Pension / Company Performance Related Profit Share / Career Progression / Company Vehicle for Business Travel.
Ideally, we are looking for an estimator who can manage a busy estimation function, assessing and quantifying resources required, deliver to client requirements, prepare quotations / documentation etc.
The suitable candidate will be required to attend pre-contract meetings, accurately assess client requirements, define sub-contractor requirements and take an active role in Project Management.
Candidates will need to:
- Hold a UK driving licence.
- Have current Estimator experience working on construction or engineering sites.
- Strong communication and numeracy skills, with attention to detail.
- Carry out site surveys & travel.
- Read and interpret construction plans and engineering drawings.
- Use MS Office (Word / Excel / Outlook) and CRM Database.
- Travel and spend time away from home as and when required due to work schedules.
