Ev Installer - Electrician

Established in 2018, Zenith Eco Solutions has an aim along with Britain to improve Britain’s emissions. We aim to achieve this by installing energy saving measure in domestic properties across the UK. We specialise in the installation of low carbon technologies such as EV charge points, Solar PV and air source heat pumps.

We are looking for electricians to join our growing team to carry out Electric Vehicle charge point installations across the Yorkshire area, Nottingham and Coventry. On-going training, support and progression available at our growing company.

Responsibilities:

Installation and Maintenance:

• Install, configure, and maintain electric vehicle charging stations in various locations.
• Ensure compliance with relevant electrical codes and standards during installation processes.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure the optimal performance of charging infrastructure.

Electrical Wiring and Troubleshooting:

• Perform electrical wiring and connections for EV charging systems, ensuring proper functionality.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to charging stations promptly.

Safety Compliance:

• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines during all installation and maintenance activities.
• Stay updated on industry safety standards and implement best practices.

Documentation:

• Maintain accurate and detailed records of installation and maintenance activities.
• Generate reports on system performance, maintenance schedules, and any issues encountered.

Customer Support:

• Provide technical support to customers and respond to inquiries related to EV charging infrastructure.
• Collaborate with customer service teams to address and resolve user concerns.

Collaboration:

• Coordinate with project managers, electricians, and other relevant members of the team to ensure seamless integration of EV charging solutions.

Installation and maintenance of single phase domestic EV charge points, Inspection, testing and commissioning of EV charge points. Guiding the customers through operating instructions and making sure they are comfortable with the products.

You must be courteous, friendly, punctual, reliable and able to work using your own initiative. The role will require driving as we cover Cheshire, Nottingham, Coventry and Birmingham.

Skills & Experience:

• EVSE 2919-01 in Electric vehicle charging desirable
• C&G 2391 Inspection & Testing or equivalent
• Fully Qualified Level 3 NVQ in Electrical Installations or Gold JIB card Holder
• 18th Edition wiring regulations
• Computer literate
• Full clean UK driving licence
• Good understanding of the specific requirements relating to Section 722 of BS 7671.
• All successful candidates must be able to pass a DBS check

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £42,000.00 per year
