Evaluation LeadEnergy and Environment

Manchester (Hybrid working) - £Excellent + Benefits

As part of the Energy and Environment team, you will be part of a team that comprises researchers, policy and evaluation specialists who are incredibly passionate about their projects and relish working in such a fast moving and innovative policy area. This team has grown rapidly over the last few years and now’s your chance to be part of it!

What projects will you be working on?

Responding to the needs of the UK government, the EU and other international clients you will be designing, delivering and evaluating policies in areas critical to the transition to a net zero and climate resilient economy and society.

The main themes of projects include energy security, net zero buildings, energy policy, climate resilience, behaviour change and public attitudes, industrial decarbonisation, low carbon innovation and entrepreneurship, circular economy, nature recovery, agricultural transition and climate risk awareness.

Experience required:

  • Proven experience delivering evaluation in a public, commercial or consultancy environment
  • A passion for climate and Environmental issues
  • An understanding of public policy and decision making in government
  • Proven ability in business development and revenue generation, leading winning research and evaluation proposals
