Event Crew

Neon Arena Services are a crewing events company based on the NEC in Birmingham.

We are looking for new team members to work on exciting projects in the Live Events Industry with an immediate start. This is not your typical 9-5 job! If you are enthusiastic, physically fit and willing to get stuck in, then this could be the job for you.

What we do:

We work at the main venues in Birmingham including: Utilita Arena, Resorts World Arena and the NEC. Every year we are involved in thousands of events including arena concerts, sporting events and exhibitions.

We offer a range of services, but your main duties will include:

• Building and dismantling stages
• Laying temporary flooring and seating
• Building stands and temporary structures
• Loading, unloading trucks
• Rigging/de-rigging equipment
• Heavy lifting

• You must be over 18 and physically fit

We provide:

• Accredited & paid training opportunities

• Starting pay of £12 plus holiday pay accrued at £1.44 per hour, pension, free parking
• Skill payments are available on top of the basic hourly rate for crew chiefs, plant operators, drivers and exhibition carpet fitters.

Job Types: Part-time, Zero hours contract

Experience:

• Event Crewing: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• Driving Licence (preferred)
• Forklift Licence (preferred)

• United Kingdom (required)
