Event Manager

Ckreative Events Limited trading as Hakkaland is seeking an Event Manager to join our dedicated team. This role will be responsible for managing all aspects of event planning, from working with clients on their vision, to securing vendors, to ensuring the day of the event goes smoothly. Main duties include: • Manage all stages of event planning and execution from conception to evaluation
• Understand and meet client's needs and expectations for each event
• Lead and motivate a team of event staff and contractors
• Select, negotiate with, and manage vendors and venues
• Develop and manage event budgets
• Collaborate with marketing team to effectively promote events
• Identify new opportunities for events and form partnerships
• Enhance the company's digital presence through integrated event strategies
• Implement quality assurance processes for continual improvement
• Manage risks to ensure event safety and compliance with regulations. Skills and Education: • Proven one year of experience in event management or a similar role
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to organizational detail
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent client-facing and communication skills
• Proficiency in digital tools and technology for event planning
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work under pressure
• Strong budget management skills
• Flexibility for irregular hours and travel
• Degree or qualification in Event Management or related field (desirable).
