SalaryRocket Staffing are recruiting for a Events Manager within the Daventry and Southam.
Position: Event Manager
Start times: Monday to Friday 08:30-18:00 (additional hours when required due to events)
Location: Southam & Daventry
Salary: GBP30,000 - GBP35,000 Plus commissions: OTE GBP65,000
Duties will include:
Full accountability of a 52 week events programme
Ability to promote the venue day and night
Must respond to all customer enquiries
Submitting quotes to prospect customers
Grow existing customers and building pipeline forecast
Contact lapsed clients
Ability to obtain sponsorship
Ability to plan and arrange multiple events
Briefing all staff with clear plan on events
Attending networking events & Black-tie dinners
Build events pipeline
Develop event sales
Up selling business services
Advising on food & drink orders (prior to events)
Ability to follow customers specific special requests.
Ensure correct numbers of staff; support event (discussed with Management Team)
Ensure that event payments are made (working with Finance Manager)
Ensure all administrative documentation has been completed.
The ideal candidate:
- Extremely well organised
- Experience within a fast passed environment
- Excellent computer skills
- Familiar with Microsoft packages (desired photoshop)
- Happy to sell face to face
- Happy to sell via phone and emails
- Friendly & Fun
