We now have an exciting opportunity to join our Venue Services team, as a Event OrganiserSales Consultant based atThe ICC offices in the heart of the country.
Our Venue Services Department is responsible for using a comprehensive understanding of all services to unlock customer demand and deliver a seamless end-to-end experience.
Working around our busy exhibition calendar, the Sales Team are responsible for maximising sales revenue and margin of the whole event services portfolio, and selling to Event Organisers and Exhibitors.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver personalised pitches to organisers that win and convert both direct organiser revenue and indirect exhibitor revenue
- Be first point of contact for own allocated account ‘organiser customer’
- Identify customer needs and offer appropriate solutions
- To develop and manage sales portfolios and convert leads to sales in line with KPI’s
- Manage relationships with all customer groups
- Liaising with other departments
- Updating CRM database ensuring excellent levels of accuracy and attention to detail
Skills and Experience
- Previous experience gained in a customer-based role, call centre, sales, hospitality or similar customer-focussed position
- Excellent telephone manner
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Good time management skills
- Self motivated
- Team player with the ability to share knowledge and information across all levels within the organisation
