DIMA Group Services can offer you this. We are looking for Safety Event stewards to work at various events and venues in and around Dunfermline, Edinburgh and other surrounding areas. We also have ad-hoc hospitality work available if this is something you are experienced in or would like to learn.
Event Steward Duties :
- Preventing the over crowding of a Venue
- Watching our for Hazards that could harm someone attending the event
- Knowing where the fire exits etc are in case of an emergency evacuation
- Giving directions to spectators/visitorts this means when you arrive on shift , familiarise yourself with things like , Where the Toilets ,Eating places , Bar and ticket boxes are etc .
- You will be assisting Security on many occasions and we ask that you never physically get involved on any occcasion and always turn to Security or a Supervisor to do this if needed .
What we need from you :
- You will need to have a good knowledge of English as people will ask you questions and you will need to communicate clearly .
- Confidence in large crowds
- Reliability and punctuality
- Be of smart tidy appearance
