A bit about our venue… the Campus consists of three core venues – the OVO Hydro, SEC Centre and SEC Armadillo, each providing a truly unique experience for our guests.
Following on from an extremely busy and record breaking 2023, 2024 is looking even bigger and better. You’ll have the opportunity to work at various events including gigs, comedy acts and live musicals… think Noah Kahan, The 1975, Disney on Ice and Strictly Come Dancing Live Tour to name a few.

What are my main responsibilities?
We have opportunities within both our retail and hospitality departments.
Working in retail involves supporting in one of our busy concourse bars where you would be serving food and drink, meanwhile in hospitality you would be assisting in one of our many high end suites taking and serving customer food/ drink orders.
Within all of our retail and hospitality areas you would be expected to do the following:
- Be polite and considerate at all times and provide a memorable and personable experience for all guests.
- Demonstrate a safe can-do attitude and exceed customer expectations.
- Maximise sales utilising upselling techniques.
- Tidy/ clean your areas when required.
- Gain a solid understanding of products in order to advise customers accordingly.
- Ensure you are aware of, and meet the legal and Company requirements for fire, safety, health, and hygiene – as covered in your training.
- To report all health and safety issues to your line manager, including all accidents and near misses.
- To prioritise food safety habits and methods of work.

Do I need to have previous experience?
Previous experience working within a hospitality/ customer service role is advantageous, but not essential as we can provide all necessary training. The main attributes we look for in candidates is motivation, dedication and a real get-up-and-go attitude!
