Account Manager - Events
Salary - £28,000 + 15% bonus and Excellent Benefits
Working Hours - Monday to Friday - Full time - Occasionally out of hours or weekend work may be required to support specific events
Start date - ASAP
Location - Edinburgh
Do you want to work for Scotland's largest events venue which hosted over 150+ events in 2023 from festivals, concerts, experience days. They are continuing to grow and always looking to invest in their offering making them one of the most sought-after venues within Scotland.
Looking to speak to people who are able to work in a fast-paced environment and has a passion for working in Events and Sales. We are looking for motivated individuals who are able to build relationships with clients and has a real passion for providing a high standard of service.
Your role will be to oversee the day-to-day running of an allocated portfolio of event clients, from selling the venue, co-ordinating internal operations, to managing client's expectations. You will answer client queries as well as be able to identify new and profitable business opportunities and convert accordingly. A high level of detail is required along with a very positive and resilient attitude.
Skills and experience required:
- 2.5+ years experience working in events
- Strong relationship building skills
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills
- Negotiation skills
- Sales Background
- Highly accurate with an excellent attention to detail
- Outgoing and bubbly personality
- Pro-Active mindset
- Excellent organisational skills - Able to plan own workload
- Proficient knowledge of Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience of using a CRM is essential.
- Must be flexible and to quickly adapt to changing work situations.
- Full UK driver's License is essential.
