Reed Finance are exclusively supporting a well-established organisation based in Edinburgh seeking a Management Accountant to oversee the financial operations of the group. This role is integral to the financial health of the organisation, requiring a hands-on approach and a positive, can-do attitude. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing management accounts, consolidating results, and preparing budgets and forecasts.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Oversee the financial operations of all companies within the group.
- Review monthly management accounts and consolidate monthly results.
- Prepare and monitor annual budgets and forecasts for the group.
- Conduct daily reviews of all company bank accounts.
- Review daily cash flows and compile weekly sales figures.
- Manage VAT Returns and Statutory Payments for the UK
- Complete government surveys and handle multi-currency supplier payments.
- Assist the Financial Controller with auditors during the annual audit.
- Provide support and assistance to a Finance team of 9 members.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- A positive, can-do attitude with a hands-on approach.
- Proficiency in Excel, including VLOOKUP and pivot tables.
- Ability to handle large volumes of work and be a strong team player.
- Confident manner when dealing with stakeholders.
