Admin skills, organised, adaptable and accurate, good at building a rapport with customers and, ideally, office-based transport operations or waste industry experience If this sounds like you, how about taking on a part-time (25 hours) temporary job for six months to help cover our busy special events season? As Special Events Administratoryou will join our busy Knowl Hill depot, between Reading and Maidenhead, on a fixed-term contract and earn a competitive salary and host of benefits, including:

About the Special Events Administrator roleThe events side of Grundon organises the waste provisions for major sporting events, peak-summer shows and festivals. You will mainly support our Special Events Transport Manager to help ensure that waste collection services run smoothly, with the focus on providing fantastic customer service, and there is plenty to get stuck into, including: - Creating jobs on our system for the drivers to see on their PDA and compiling their paperwork for the following day.- Investigating queries, including contacting customers with the outcome.- Recording weights and checking and coding invoices. - Updating and maintaining holiday/absence records.

What we're looking for in our Special Events Administrator- Good computer skills - think Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, plus our own systems (we'll train you up).- Numerate, with good spoken and written English. - Flexibility - covering during absences, for example. - Good local geographical knowledge.

Working hours: 25 hours per week, Mon-Fri, 11am-4pm
