Our client, a wonderful Membership Organisation, are looking to hire an EVENTS ASSISTANT to join their busy team.
ROLE: Events Assistant
WHERE: City of London
WHEN: Monday - Friday / hybrid working / 09:00 - 17:30
SALARY: £29,000 per annum
START: ASAP!
PLEASE NOTE: This role will include travel throughout the UK
DUTIES:
- Working with the Events Team to coordinate events including: breakfasts, lunches, and dinners, launch events, webinars and virtual roundtables, conferences and receptions
- Maintain the working relationships with members through the delivery of events
- Provide logistical arrangements with both member hosts and/or external venues to ensure events run smoothly
- Create and circulate invitations for events, using the CRM system, automated in-house system (Force24) and Outlook
- Events administration in the lead up to events, including production - name badges, agendas etc
- Point of contact for event participants and responding to events related queries
- Assist with flagship events: Annual Dinner, International Conference, Annual Conference, National Conference
- Help maintain CRM system of member and non-member delegates for events
- Assist the Events Executive with management of external suppliers
- Any other ad-hoc duties that may be required
WHAT'S NEEDED:
- Events experience within a professional environment
- Confidently able to work in a fast-paced team environment
- Natural team player who is flexible
- Ability to quickly establish effective relationships with colleagues and senior individuals
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and CRM systems
- Can keep calm and level-headed when under pressure
