Events Assistant

We are recruiting for 4 x Event assistant positions to work at the Wolverhampton Arts and Culture venues or any suitable location within the City of Wolverhampton.

Pay rate: £12.59 per hour

Working pattern: Monday, Tuesday and Saturday 5 hours each day.

Job description:

The post holder will be responsible for delivering family, community and/or adult events and activities within the Arts and Culture service, including supporting planning, administration, marketing and evaluation of events. The post holder will support excellent communications with our audiences.

Job role:

To assist with the administration of events such as liaising with artists and performers, mail-outs, correspondence and general enquiries.

To prepare and arrange for the creation, printing and distribution of marketing materials, working with the Communications team and Digital Print Solutions.

To prepare, deliver and facilitate arts activities and workshops for community engagement events, regular family events and adult programmes and activities, and support externally funded project events.

To assist with maintaining good partner relationships to co create activities with community members across the city, facilitating access to spaces, collections items, staff and expertise based on the model of asset-based community development.

To assist with the monitoring and evaluation of events and activities.

To raise orders and invoices to assist with the administration of contracts, assist with monitoring income and expenditure, and to undertake general office duties.
