We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Event Assistant to join our team. As an Event Assistant, you will play a crucial role in assisting with the planning and execution of various events. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for hospitality, excellent communication skills, and a strong ability to multitask.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning and coordination of events.
- Set up event spaces with necessary equipment and signage
- Greet and assist guests upon arrival, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience
- Collaborate with the event team to ensure smooth operations during the event
- Support fundraising efforts by promoting donation opportunities and engaging with attendees
- Assist with event breakdown and cleanup tasks
Qualifications:
- Excellent time management and organisational skills to effectively handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong communication skills to interact professionally with guests and team members
- Ability to upsell products or services during events to maximize revenue opportunities
- Passion for providing exceptional customer and client services and ensuring a positive event experience for all attendees
