Events Co-ordinator – Woking
(New Victoria Theatre, Rhoda McGaw Theatre and Nova Cinema)
The Ambassador Theatre Group is an extraordinary success story in the live entertainment industry. Founded in 1992 in the UK, we’ve grown into the world’s number one live-theatre company today. We cover every discipline in the theatre industry, from operating venues to producing shows and ticketing, through our industry-leading sites ATGtickets.com, LOVEtheatre and Group Line. We are passionate about great shows and our ambition is to help them find the largest possible audiences.
Our wonderful New Victoria Theatre, Rhoda McGaw Theatre and Nova Cinema is looking for a new Events Co-ordinator to join our dynamic team.
ATG’s theatres and cinema complex in Woking, comprises the New Victoria Theatre (1300 seats), Rhoda McGaw Theatre (228 Seats), and the 7-screen Nova Cinema. This is an exciting time to be joining the complex, with the Nova having recently relaunched following a multi-million-pound refurbishment, making it one of the most state-of-the-art cinemas in the country.
The Events Co-ordinator will be the co-ordinator of all events within our three venues as we grow these new additions to our business. The Co-ordinator will be the lead contact and organiser for all hire events liaising with external clients and our internal departments to support the successful operational delivery of events.
The Events Co-ordinator will report to the Head of Operations and work closely with other departments to provide support and maintain a positive working environment. The position requires a detail-oriented person who can work under pressure and is committed to delivering excellent customer service. The successful candidate will have the ability to work independently and as part of a team and will be able to anticipate problems and proactively seek solutions.
This is a highly dynamic and fast paced position that involves managing weekly deadlines; no two days are ever the same and the job requires an enthusiastic individual with a passion for working as part of a team within the arts and entertainment industry.
The role is an on-site position that requires the successful candidate to be present at the theatre complex during the working day, although working hours can be flexible.
