The Events Content Creator Role:
Reporting to the Director of Events, you will lead on the research and content generation for a series of event programmes to support our annual programme of events.
As Events Content Creator, you will extensively research, create and write exciting and commercially driven content for events. You will liaise with speakers to agree on session content and identify other ways they can assist to promote the event. You will also conduct pre-event briefing meetings to organise and document session format, running order, housekeeping points and more.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Research, create content, and assist in the delivery of high-quality event programmes for the Association, both face-to-face and online, working closely with the Events Programme and Technical Manager and Events Programme Assistant
+ Invite influential and high calibre speakers and chairs
+ Liaise and build relationships with internal teams and event programme sponsors to identify session topics and speakers
+ Build relationships with key stakeholders within the pensions and lifetime savings industry
About you:
+ At least 2 years experience of having worked in the pensions industry, with good knowledge of pensions and lifetime savings
+ Experience of working with senior stakeholders and key relationship building
+ Research and speaker acquisition skills
+ Copywriting skills
+ Excellent communication skills
+ Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
+ Flexible, hardworking, reliable and a keen team player who is also able to work independently and works well under pressure
+ Up to date with current affairs, with a high degree of interest in current business issues
+ Open and honest.
Desirable Experience:
+ Experience of inputting into event programmes
+ Knowledge of the events industry in the financial sector
