Contract: Minimum 12 month maternity contract

Salary: Up to £30,000 dependent on experience

We are working on behalf of an esteemed employer who are looking to recruit an experienced Events Executive to join their events management and marketing department to focus on several key brands particularly in the automotive industry. This role will be focused on organising UK events to promote the company brand at a variety of shows and exhibitions.

The successful candidate will have proven demonstrable experience in events management in particular organising outdoor events and logistics, venue only experience will not be considered. 

This is a full-time office based role working in an outstanding office environment. The working hours are Monday to Friday 9am until 5pm with half hour lunch. This is a minimum 12 month maternity contract with expected start date in June/July 2024.

Role and responsibilities:

• As an Events Executive you will be focused on supporting a company brand with events management from start to finish organising UK based events to promote products at shows and exhibitions 
• Working closely with a variety of internal and external stakeholders to ensure accuracy of event data
• Responsible for updating trackers related to event costings and providing cost analysis
• Attending events acting as a brand ambassador and ensuring they run smoothly
• Engage with a variety of external events companies to book locations, logistics, delivery of products and resources for events and promotions
• Acting proactively ahead of events to minimise issues such as organising power to stands outdoors 
• Contribute to the creative concept and design of the events and outdoor event stands
• Produce literature for events, briefs and show guides
• Work alongside the marketing team with producing social media campaigns and content
• Engage with the marketing team to ensure effective advertisements for each event and associated promotional marketing materials
• Support with analysing data and collating delegate feedback for analysis
• General event management and marketing support as required

Skills and experience required:

• Proven work history within a similar role essential - Events Executive, Events Assistant, Events Manager 
• Highly organised with excellent communication skills
• Motivated and enthusiastic nature
• Ability to work well under pressure
• Strong knowledge and confident user of Excel
• High levels of attention to detail
• Flexible approach to work
