This is a great opportunity for an individual with a passion in marketing and organising/delivering events to make an impact within the local SME business support landscape.

The main purpose of the role is to significantly contribute to the successful delivery of Innovate UK BUSINESS GROWTH services by marketing and promoting its offering/activities/successes; from start to finish - organise and successfully deliver informational events and conferences; liaise directly with businesses to collate information on their needs so we may further support them; and provide administrative support to the team of Innovation and Growth Specialists.

We are looking for someone with previous experience of working in a busy environment involving direct interactions with clients/customers/businesses, who has a high-level understanding of Social Media platforms, and who would be confident in interacting with Business Owners, Stakeholders, Expert Speakers, and wider team members.

You will also need to have the ability:

• To present/engage/communicate with people diplomatically, competently, and effectively at all levels (internally and externally).

• To manage your time effectively and be able to work unsupervised and proactively.

• To compile and create interactive blog posts and success stories.

• To independently develop and deliver marketing campaigns and analyse the results to determine ROI/success.

• To work under pressure and within tight deadlines.

• And willingness to travel locally, nationally, and internationally when required.
