Events Manager

We are in search of a highly structured and organized candidate capable of upholding elevated standards in customer care, communication, and housekeeping. This individual should possess the ability to motivate and collaborate within a team while maintaining the confidence to enforce venue rules without compromising its reputation.

The core responsibilities of the role include:

1. Overseeing and being present during event days to ensure that customers and their suppliers adhere to venue policies, aiding as needed.
2. Managing maintenance issues and ensuring swift resolution of any problems.
3. Working with a team of porters, security personnel, cleaning staff, and event supervisors to ensure each event's safe, secure delivery..
4. Liaising with suppliers, overseeing proper inductions, ensuring licenses are obtained as required, and responding to client inquiries.
5. Planning and coordinating logistical aspects of the event day with the on-site team, covering car parking, setup, packdown, security, etc.
6. Documenting damages caused by clients or their suppliers, initiating the repair process promptly, and ensuring payment of costs.

The salary for this position is £40,000 per year, with bonuses available if agreed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are met.

Due to the emphasis on communication in this role, candidates are required to have a GCSE or equivalent qualification in English.
