Position Overview
Wise Productions is currently looking for a knowledgeable Warehouse Technician to join the team. The post holder will work closely with the set and staging team, audio, lighting, site, & video technicians to create and deliver content that supports the company to meet the needs of our clients and accredited venues ensuring that we deliver excellence for every project.
This would suit a bright, self-motivated individual who enjoys working within a team and has a willingness to learn about how we operate within the events industry and use this knowledge to develop and deliver relevant visual materials.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities
· Maintain accurate inventory levels of equipment and supplies.
· Ensure all equipment is properly maintained, serviced, and in good working condition. This includes regular inspections, repairs, PAT testing and coordinating with external suppliers for specialised maintenance.
· Adhere to all health and safety protocols and regulations, including proper handling of hazardous materials, use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and maintaining a clean and organised work environment.
· Conduct quality checks on equipment and supplies to ensure they meet company standards and client expectations.
· Prepare equipment and supplies for events, including packaging, labelling, and ensuring all necessary components are included as well as troubleshooting equipment issues, setting up and testing equipment, and providing on-site support during events.
· Work closely with other warehouse staff, event production teams, freelancers and the wider technical team to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of equipment and supplies.
· Loading and unloading of equipment onto designated vehicles in a timely fashion.
· Driving Luton/long wheelbase vans.
· Basic admin utilising Office365
Person Specification:
Experience:
Essential At least one years’ experience in the event lighting/sound industry or other relevant experience, theatre, TV & film, concert lighting etc.
Desirable Previous experience in a similar position with a production company.
Experience in driving Luton/long wheelbase vans.
Knowledge and experience of events in the unique venues of
London
Skills and Abilities:
Essential A good working knowledge of event production, rigging, staging and AV.
Basic computer skills.
Desirable Experience of working with audio/video/lighting systems.
Experience of HireHop or other inventory management/rental software.
Experience of equipment maintenance including PAT testing.
First Aid at Work
Qualifications:
Essential Full, clean driving licence.
Desirable Counterbalance Forklift
Disposition and Attitude:
Essential Ability to work as part of a team.
Able to work on own initiative with minimal supervision.
Willingness to learn new skills and work in all technical disciplines.
Efficient time management with ability to work to strict deadlines.
Positive and flexible approach to problem solving.
Willingness to work unsociable hours when required.
Must have a sense of humour and good taste in music!
