Job Title: Exams Assistant, Tunbridge Wells.
Contract: Permanent, Term-Time Only plus inset days (39 weeks per year) and up to 2 weeks during the exams results period in August (additional time paid on claim)

Salary: FTE 21,389- 22,493, actual salary 18,560- 19,518.91 + extra 2 week pay

We are assisting a local school with the recruitment of an Exams Assistant:
Key Responsibilities:
- Examination Administration: Manage the administration process for both internal and external examinations, ensuring they run smoothly and efficiently.
- Communication: Liaise with school staff, students, invigilators, and examination boards to coordinate and communicate information related to exams.
- Scheduling: Assist in scheduling exams, coordinating exam venues, and ensuring that all logistics are in place for a successful examination process.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and organised records of examination materials, student entries, and results.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to examination board regulations and policies to maintain the integrity of the examination process.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Administrative Experience: A solid background in administration, preferably in an educational setting, demonstrating organizational and coordination skills.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with various stakeholders involved in the examination process.
- Attention to Detail: The ability to maintain meticulous records and ensure accuracy in all aspects of examination administration.
- Confidentiality: Understanding the importance of handling sensitive information with discretion and maintaining the confidentiality of exam-related data.
- Problem-Solving: The capacity to handle unexpected situations during exams and resolve issues efficiently.
- IT Skills: Proficiency in relevant computer applications and systems used for examination administration.
You will assist in the efficient and effective running of the administration of all internal and external examinations within the school, including liaising with staff, students, invigilators and examination boards.
