Role Overview:
As a Primary School Teaching Assistant with SEN experience working on supply, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of students with diverse learning needs. Your role will involve providing support to children in mainstream classrooms and working closely with SENCo and teaching staff to implement effective strategies for individualized learning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support students with special educational needs in the classroom environment.
- Collaborate with teachers and SENCo to implement and adapt learning activities.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
- Provide one-to-one support for students with specific needs.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
Requirements:
- Relevant experience as a Teaching Assistant in a Primary School setting.
- Special Educational Needs (SEN) experience and knowledge.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt to different school environments and work collaboratively with school staff.
- A passion for supporting the educational and emotional development of all students.
