Blair West are supporting AgriSound, to find an Executive Assistant. AgriSound is an innovative new technology company with a specialist product in the environmental-tech space.
Agrisound uses technology dedicated to helping protect the world’s biodiversity, using data to inform and raise awareness about the world’s food supply using its specialism of monitoring pollen activity levels. This is done using their cutting-edge technology, which provides real-time updates on the health and productivity of the pollinators.
AgriSound is at an interesting point in its growth journey following its recent equity investment. Based in York and with a headcount of 13, the need for an EA has arisen as they continue to focus on funding and further investment. This is a generalist EA role focusing on board and executive activity.
The opportunity:
- Be an extension of the CEO, taking full ownership of their daily plans, inbox, diary, and any other required support. Providing daily updates to ensure seamless operations.
- Lead internal and external engagement activities such as organising client events and internal socials.
- Notetaking on board and executive level meetings; creating agendas, summarising notes and compiling packs.
- Support the CEO with any requirements for further fundraising.
- Be the first point of contact for any visitors to the office and be a representative for the brand.
- Support on any other ad hoc tasks such as HR, compliance or anything else the business may require.
You'll be the ideal candidate for this position if you have:
- Previous experience as an EA with a high awareness of confidentiality.
- A mindset of agility and flexibility, particularly around your availability.
- A strong sense of initiative and the ability to manage other people, as well as yourself.
- High levels of organisation and project management skills.
- Exceptional communication skills across all levels.
- Experience operating with high levels of trust and discretion at all times.
