Join us in making a difference:
Walk the Walk is a grant-making breast cancer charity that is dedicated to not only raising money and awareness for vital breast cancer causes, but to also encourage women, men and children to become more aware of their own potential for fitness and wellbeing.
We organise the famous MoonWalk overnight power walking challenges and are immensely proud to have raised over £137m, which has been granted to research into breast and other cancers and to improve the lives of people living with cancer now.
As our Senior Volunteer Coordinator, you will play a key role in mobilising our passionate community of Volunteers towards our shared mission. You'll be the driving force behind the recruitment, logistics, and coordination of Volunteers for our MoonWalks, ensuring that every Volunteer feels valued, supported, and empowered to make a meaningful difference.
Key areas that you will be involved include, but are not limited to;
Volunteer Engagement: Encourage strong relationships with our existing Volunteers while actively recruiting new Volunteers to expand our reach and impact.
Event Coordination: Work closely with our Events Team to coordinate Volunteer schedules, ensuring smooth operations and exceptional experiences for both Volunteers and participants.
Data Management: Maintain accurate Volunteer records using our CRM Database.
We are looking for someone who can bring their passion and enthusiasm for Volunteer engagement, as well as their previous experience and skills to join us in our mission against breast and other cancers.
If you're ready to take the next step in your career and make a meaningful difference in the lives of others, we want to hear from you! Please submit your resume and a cover letter outlining your qualifications and why you're passionate about joining Walk the Walk.
