Executive Chef

Location: Scottsdale, AZ

Salary: $150,000 - $160,000

The Company:

We are assisting a 5-star hotel in Scottsdale Arizona in their search of an Executive Chef.
They are looking for a seasoned culinary professional to join their team and infuse it with their creativity, passion, and ambition!

Responsibilities of the Executive Chef:

• Oversee the resort’s culinary operations including food safety regulations, staff management, inventory management and cost controls
• Develop menus to reflect the resort’s concepts.
  Ensure efficient preparation, plating, and service of food while upholding the utmost standards of quality service
• Optimise back of house operations to maximise revenue potential and uphold the resort’s integrity and reputation
• Support the full recruitment process of kitchen team members
• Provide leadership and guidance to the back of house team members.
  Establishing and maintaining a motivating and supportive work environment
• Stay up to date with local competition, industry trends and best practices

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in a comparable role, preferably within a luxury hotel/resort
• Strong business and financial acumen
• Confident, calm, approachable and professional individual with exceptional communication and time management skills
• A creative individual who is passionate about food and providing excellent guest experiences
• A self-motivated, natural leader who can support and inspire team members
• Experience using hospitality software systems is an asset
