Job Summary:
Reporting to the Customer Engagement Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting contract wins, retaining customers and promoting HCL's services through effective and innovative food presentations. This dynamic position involves collaborating across various functions to deliver a culinary experience that resonates with our target audience.
Responsibilities:
- Drive a consistent high standard of food offers for all users especially at Tender presentations.
- Work with the Community Support Team to develop and produce Cookery Lessons and Workshops.
- Be accountable for the implementation of food and marketing programmes including new menu launches and new products ensuring they fit within the quality and requirements of the Customer.
- Work across all sectors of HCL with the ability to communicate on different levels and support the business on various initiatives.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and maintain a high level of attention to detail.
- You will be able to demonstrate an overall understanding of how to manage great food standards, innovate and assist in developing the food offer whilst considering costs and business requirements.
- Deliver both company and legal legislative Health & Safety and Food Safety requirements.
Requirements:
- Great food presentations skills and developing menus for the tenders.
- Excellent verbal communication skills to effectively present tender presentations.
- Proven experience in Catering.
- The ability to manage projects and support staff in various situations.
- Working to a budget for the tender process.
- A solid knowledge of food allergies and intolerances.
- Strong understanding of catering policies and procedures.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality, accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work well under pressure to meet deadlines.
