The role
As an Executive Support Administrator you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. Babcock Corporate Services (BCS) is a global function, which supplies and operates all IT, Security, Procurement, and Finance Shared Services. We are embedded alongside the operations that we serve, enabling us to maintain close working relationships which support delivery to our customers.
Day to day, you'll provide administrative and business support to a defined group of senior-level stakeholders based at our Head Office on approximately 1:5 subject to relationship basis (as determined by the complexity of the role being supported).
Additional responsibilities will include:
- A variety of day-to-day administrative tasks for senior leadership team member including managing an extremely active calendar of appointments; arranging complex and detailed travel plans, itineraries, and agendas; and compiling documents for meetings.
- Successfully completing critical aspects of activity independently and with a hands-on approach.
- Prioritising conflicting needs; handling matters expeditiously, proactively, and following-through on projects to successful completion, often with deadline pressures.
- Maintains discretion and confidentiality in relationships with stakeholders.
This is a full time, permanent position based at Wigmore Street, London. The successful candidate will be required to work on site for 3 days per week, with the option to work from home one day per week.
Essential experience of the Executive Support Administrator:
- Experience in providing administrative support at senior stakeholder or director level including managing diaries, arranging travel and itineraries
- Ability to decipher priorities and make sound judgment calls when needed.
- Commitment to excellence and performing duties at the highest level possible on a consistent basis.
- Excellent communicator with a proven ability to interact with people of all levels in a confident, professional manner.
- Proven experience, ability, and temperament to work with sensitive information
The successful candidate must be able to achieve SC Clearance security clearance level for this role.
