Experienced Bar Staff:
A well-known pub based in Aston, Birmingham has a wonderful history and boasts a great atmosphere. It s been recently taken over by new owners who now have a fantastic opportunity for Experienced Bar Staff to serve the local community with warm hospitality at their heart.
You will be experienced and charismatic motivated and engaging when in front of house and have excellent customer service skills. You will be a part of a great team of 8 helping to serve the regular customers and getting to know them well. The pub also has a B&B and a caf?? serving a wide range of food from fresh breakfast daily as well as lunch and dinner to regular lodgers and passing trade. It also has a roof terrace which is great for BBQs in the summer.
You will have a proven track record in helping to manage the bar area and keeping it clean as well as great knowledge of extensive drinks offerings. A natural passion for people is a must combined with a Can do attitude . You will benefit from the immense financial investment and continuous staff training. The Successful Bar Staff will have:
Prior Pub/Bar/Restaurant experience as a Bar Staff member.
Good understanding of cocktails, beers, and spirits,
Be outgoing, driven, and flexible.
Along with the eagerness to continually learn.
A creative approach with impeccable attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
Supporting the Manager in overseeing daily operations, including managing cleaning of the bar, inventory, and finances.
Maintaining a safe, clean, and well-organised pub environment and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Assisting with the planning and execution of events and promotions to increase business.
Managing customer complaints and feedback, ensuring that their experience at the pub is positive.
Working in the kitchen when needed taking orders and managing inventory of food, drinks, and other supplies and ensuring that they are properly stored and rotated.
Updating menu offerings serving customers.
Collaborating with the marketing team to develop and implement marketing strategies to promote the pub and increase customer engagement.
Ensuring that the pub is operating smoothly and efficiently.
Assisting in food preparation to ensure consistently high-quality when needed as cover.
Resolving conflicts or disputes between customers
Ordering supplies for the establishment, including food, drink and condiments.
Personal Attributes:
The ability to motivate a team by leading from the front.
A natural understanding of what hospitality is and how to deliver it.
Experience with booking live music and entertainment; events experience.
Knowledge of the local area and its patrons
Attention to detail and good admin.
Detailed understanding of the celler (training provided)
A zest for life
Some humour.
High volume experience
Lots of personality and charm, to be the face of the business.

Mon to Fri 8:00 am 3:00 pm
Or
Mon to Fri 3:00 pm 11 pm
Weekend availability with one day off in the week
Overtime is paid at the same rate
Salary:
Up to GBP10.42 per hour
