Experienced Class 1HGV Drivers needed for immediate start!
An independent family owned business are looking for temporary Class 1 HGV drivers to work on ongoing contracts.
• Typical start/end times – On a regular day to day basis drivers to start between 04:00/06:00. End times can vary depending on their work for the day. This depends on how the day goes due to unload/load times.
• Average nights out – On average you will be required to do between 2-4 nights out a week. This is subject to fluctuate depending on the workload of the week as well as locations.
• Night out allowances – Night allowances paid
• Regular workloads – Providing timber deliveries to stores across the UK which is running on a weekly basis.
• Typical areas that are covered – National coverage.
• Covid practices – All units are kept to a high standard of cleanliness. To add to this they also do their very best to make sure that once a driver is allocated a unit, that they stay with this. Finally, they test regularly on site for temperatures as well as require a strict one in one out rule in the office while wearing masks at all possible times. Screens are also placed around the office to limit any spread between all staff.
• Points allowed – 6 maximum is the requirement they would need to hire the driver but this can all be based on what the points have been for.
