MARLBOROUGH NANNIES are delighted to advertise for a DAILY NANNY / HOUSEKEEPER for a family living in Woolton Hill, Nr Newbury RG20.
This lovely, busy family have 2 children both boys aged 13 & 10.
They require an experienced NANNY / HOUSEKEEPER to be an extra pair of hands and help with all aspects of busy family life, it is desirable that you have a good balance of childcare experience as well as housekeeping with previous experience of working in private family settings. The family have a cleaner who comes in weekly for deep cleaning so household duties are mainly tidying and organising.
The ideal candidate will be experienced, helpful, flexible, reliable, proactive, fun loving and well organised, you must be able to use your own initiative and adapt and multi task.
The children are split between 2 schools which finish at different times, you will be required to collect the youngest from school at 5.00pm (short distance from home) the eldest will catch the school bus back and be home by 6.30pm.
All childcare duties are required to include and not be limited to school runs, keeping all children’s areas clean and tidy, children’s laundry / ironing, preparing healthy and nutritious meals / snacks, taking to after school activities, arranging play dates, assisting / supervising homework and most importantly having huge amounts of fun.
You will be required to perform light household duties to include and not be limited to tidying and organising, changing beds, batch cooking, unpacking the grocery order, running errands and ensuring that the home is generally well presented and cared for you will have the ability to adapt to family / household needs as they arise and prioritise accordingly.
The days and hours required are Monday to Friday from 2.00pm – 7.30pm (approximately 27.5 hours per week) An earlier finish time is possible when parents are working from home and can be almost guaranteed on a Friday. The same amount of hours will be required throughout the school holidays but the hours may vary weekly depending on the children’s schedules.
A confident car driver and owner is essential, mileage will be paid for business use.
An attractive salary is offered dependent on experience.
The start date is ASAP.
You are required to have an enhanced DBS on the update service and a valid paediatric first aid certificate.
