Daily Nanny

Dedicated professional nanny who values routine, and structure required for this amazing family with their two young children in Berkshire, very competitive salary on offer!

Job Summary: Current Eden clients are looking for a new nanny to start ASAP. The family live in a great area with a large garden that has a treehouse and dedicated play are including a vegetable garden that their older son particular loves. Both children are healthy in excellent routines (Gina ford) and the family are keen to find someone who believes in structure and routine. The little boy attends a local prep school 3 mornings a week and 2 full days (moving to 5 full days in September) and currently the little girl is at home, this will change in September when she will attend Nursery two full days . The family employ a cleaner who also take care of the ironing. housekeeping. Both parents work full time a mix of home and office (the home has a dedicated office away from the main home in the garden )

General duties:

• Sole charge care of both children
• Drop off and pick ups form school and nursery, the parents also will help with this from September!
• Planning and attending weekly classes and baby groups.
• Driving the children (car provided for work)
• Planning activities – filling their time with fun adventures, organising playdates & researching extracurricular classes; keeping both children organised in their environments & routines while teaching independence ..
• Creating a safe and stimulating environment within the home
• Responsible for the children’s laundry (no ironing) keeping the wardrobes organised and neat putting the clothes away.
• Planning, preparing and feeding nutritious healthy meals.
• Batch cooking (there is an extra freezer to keep fully stocked
• Keeping the playroom and bedrooms tidy and organised
• Keeping a daily log /dairy of the daughter’s day
• Administering medicine with parents’ consent
• Extra babysitting on occasion – mutually agreed and compensated extra.

Candidate requirements:

• It is essential you have a good understanding and experience of working with similar ages.
• Fluent English skills are important to help with reading, writing and homework.
• Someone who has excellent organizational and communication skills – there is a lot of autonomy in this role, and it is essential you are good with time management and am confident working on your own initiative.
• A confident driver is a must, you will need your own car to get to work but one will be available for you to use during the day.
• Professional and discreet
• Familiar with the early years and milestones- potty training etc

Salary: up to £52,000 dependant on your experience

DBS and first aid check required at offer stage.
