The Finance & Accountancy Division at The One Group is currently recruiting for an Experienced Credit Controller on the behalf of a luxury branded business based in Milton Keynes. Reporting into the Credit Control Manager, you will be responsible for providing world-class service to all customers whilst operating in compliance with financial controls and statutory requirements. Role: Credit Controller, Permanent
Salary: £30,000
Working Hours, 08:30 – 17:00, Monday to Friday – Hybrid working, 2 days office and 3 days from home

As the Credit Controller, you will be responsible for but not limited to:
- Debt management – chasing outstanding payments and collecting incoming cash whilst maintaining good customer service and relationship
- Posting allocated cash and raising invoices for relevant departments
- Updating and setting up new customer accounts
- Reconciliation of ledger
- Working closely with other departments, including sales, IT, finance etc
- Monitor credit control inbox
- Assist with month-end reporting
- Assist with quarterly audit and statutory audit when required
- Assisting wider finance team during busy periods or holiday cover
As the successful Credit Controller, you must demonstrate the following skills and attributes:
- AAT Qualified or Part-Qualified in CIMA or ACCA
- Able to represent finance and build relationship with senior management team and stakeholders
- Ability to work in a fast pace and busy environment whilst juggling multiple tasks in hand
- Excellent communication skills and rapport building
- Proactive and “can-do” attitude
