Experienced Pizza Chef

We are a Hackney based pizza shop with a central delivery / prep kitchen location (Hackney Wick) and also do pop-ups / private events within East London and beyond with our Landrover Defenders with built in wood fired pizza ovens.

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chef to join our team. As a Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the food preparation and cooking in our restaurant. Your culinary expertise and creativity will contribute to delivering exceptional dining experiences for our customers.

Duties:

- Prepare and cook delicious and visually appealing meals according to our menu and recipes

- Ensure that all food is prepared in a safe and sanitary manner, following food safety guidelines

- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to plan and execute daily meal preparation

- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed

- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment

- Train and supervise junior kitchen staff members

- Adhere to all health and safety regulations

Skills:

- Proven experience as a Chef in a pizza restaurant or similar setting

- In-depth knowledge of culinary techniques, flavor profiles, and food presentation

- Strong understanding of food safety practices and regulations

- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely meal preparation

- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment

- Creativity and passion for experimenting with new flavors and ingredients

- Strong leadership skills to effectively manage kitchen staff

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Salary: £15.00-£17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
