Trainee Pizza Chef

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chef to join our team. As a Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking delicious meals for our customers. You will work in a fast-paced restaurant environment, utilizing your culinary skills to create exceptional dishes. Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and standards
- Ensure that all food is prepared in a safe and sanitary manner
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient meal preparation
- Monitor food inventory and order supplies as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area
- Assist with menu planning and development of new dishes
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff members
- Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Chef or Cook in a restaurant or similar setting
- Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures
- Strong culinary skills with the ability to create diverse and flavorful dishes
- Excellent time management skills to ensure efficient meal preparation
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
We are looking for a Trainee Pizza Chef (pizzaiolo) to join our already talented team at Melisi. We are looking for energetic individuals who would like to start from scratch and learn our trade and be part of our fun team. We intend to train and teach you to become an integral part of our team.

Salary: £9.00-£11.50 per hour
