Experienced Year 1 Class Teacher February 2024 - Maternity Cover Long-Term Contract Wandsworth

At Clarus Education, we are working with a 1 form entry school in Wandsworth, who are looking to appoint a Year 1 Teacher, in a long-term from February 2024 until the end of the school year.

This post is not suitable for ECTs, due to the school already being at capacity, however if youre MPS3 or above, and youre interested in this position, please do keep reading!

The Head Teacher is keen to interview confident KS1 Primary Teachers with QTS, who have experience teaching in KS1. You will need to be able to hit the ground running straight away and be ready to get stuck into the Phonics Screening Test preparation from January!

The school is based in Wandsworth, with the nearest station being Tooting Bec; therefore, having easily accessible public transport links.

The Details:

*Year 1 Class Teacher Role
*Long-Term contract via Clarus Education
*Full-Time, Monday-Friday during term-time
*MPS3+ (Inner London)
*£200+ per day
*Located in Wandsworth

The Essentials:

*UK QTS
*UK based Teaching Experience
*Must be an experienced teacher not an ECT
*KS1 Teaching Experience
*Strong behaviour management
*Confident with KS1 Subject Knowledge including Phonics and Early Reading
*Right to Work in the UK we do not offer sponsorship
*Have or be willing to apply for an Enhanced Child Workforce DBS Certificate which is registered on the update service
*Available to work from January-July 2024
