Export Compliance Control Officer

Jonathan Lee Recruitment seeks an experienced and collaborative Export Compliance Control Officer to join our client's inclusive and friendly team. This full-time Export Compliance Control Officer role is based in Telford, Shropshire, and offers a salary of £40,000 to £45,000 p/a and excellent benefits.

As an Export Compliance Control Officer, you will be working in a compliance role within an MIV team, focused towards export controls within the company's Military Vehicle programme. You will understand, apply and implement Export Control compliance obligations at the business level. These include compliance with all company export control policies and procedures and compliance with applicable export control laws and regulations.

In your first few weeks in this Export Compliance Control Officer role, you can expect to:

• Undertake Export Control Investigations, draft Disclosure letters, identify corrective actions, closeout and lead root cause analysis, and lessons learned reviews
• Develop, maintain and report against the export control lessons learnt
• Support export control improvement activities
• Maintain accurate export control records for compliance and auditing purposes

To apply for this Export Compliance Control Officer role, you must be Security cleared or able to attain and maintain a UK security clearance up to SC level. You will also require the following:

• Proven knowledge and understanding of Export Control
• An understanding of international export control regimes
• Knowledge of military vehicles, services and products
