I am currently recruiting on behalf of a Luxury Automotive OEM based in Gaydon who are seeking a Training & Development Specialist (Engineering) to join their team.
Job Description
As Training & Development Specialist (Engineering) your main responsibilities are:
- The role will focus on co ordinating training and maintaining a skills matrices for teams within PDW.1
- The main activity is to review and plan training, to enable the team to be complaint, safe and have the skills to deliver future Client product.
- To collate, manipulate and interpret data which will be used to inform skills gaps
- To plan, coordinate and control the activities for a large team in order to achieve efficient operation
- This role is within Product Development Workshops.
Qualifications / Skills needed
- IT literacy & able to manage emails and connected comms input & manipulate data in EXCEL spreadsheets
- Some knowledge of vehicles, vehicle workshops & their control and work management systems.
- Technical expertise and experience of workshop and test facility operations 3+ years of training coordination or similar role
- Background of working in a manufacturing or workshop environment
- Computer literate, including Microsoft Office competency to produce plans, presentations, graphs, process and Single Point Lesson (SPL) documents.
