- Prepare and process customer quotations and orders for non-UK customers.
- Complete all necessary paperwork and documents for international order shipment and clearance.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date shipping records.
- Route shipments in accordance with company policies and monitor them throughout their journey.
- Plan, execute, coordinate, and optimise daily exports.
- Liaise with external hauliers for sea, air, and road freight, providing necessary shipping instructions.
- Create and distribute a complete set of shipping documents.
- Monitor timelines throughout the transport planning, loading, and execution process, including shipment tracking.
- Manage claims through the internal Quality Management System.
- Process orders with a ‘right first time’ mentality.
- Act as the customer’s internal advocate, managing expectations and effectively communicating in common language.
- Handle customer queries and liaise with internal departments to resolve issues from start to finish.
- Maintain ownership of identified customer accounts, including handling complaints.
- Check technical information and pricing against data sheets and costing models.
- Maintain records to the highest standard in line with regulatory and company standards..
- Work in a fast-paced environment, adhering to departmental KPIs.
- Report customer or system issues to the Regional Accounts Team Leader promptly.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Technical Services, Operations, and Manufacturing to coordinate and drive activities.
- Serve as a point of escalation and customer liaison on behalf of the department/customer.
- Proven experience in export coordination or a similar role.
- Familiarity with international shipping documentation and regulations.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in using IT systems for order processing and shipment tracking.
