External Engagement Officer - Grade 6, Maternity Cover

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, pro-active, organised and highly motivated External Engagement Officer to support the Management School in delivering on its External Engagement strategy and objectives. The role offers the opportunity to build links with industry connections, drive business development and increase employer engagements.  You will represent the School externally and lead the development of relationships with key organisations and businesses with a view to understanding each organisation’s drivers for engaging with the School.  You will provide a tailored approach to facilitate successful engagements with mutually beneficial outcomes. Reporting directly to the External Engagement Manager you will be a key member of the School, liaising with senior academic and Professional Services colleagues and proactively engaging with both internal and external stakeholders. The role requires the development of good awareness of activity across the School, as well as adaptability and creative thinking, whilst maintaining an eye for detail and an awareness of long term objectives. You should have a degree level qualification or demonstrable experience.  Experience of working in or with a Higher Education Institution is desirable.
