Hours: Full-time or Part-time, between 8:00 am - 5:30 pm
Rate of Pay: £10.50 - £11.90 per hour
Are you passionate about early childhood education and eager to make a positive impact on young learners? We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Assistant to join our dynamic team in Preston.
Responsibilities:
Supporting Classroom Activities: Assist in implementing age-appropriate learning activities and educational programs for children in the Early Years Foundation Stage.
Supervision and Care: Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times, providing a nurturing and supportive environment.
Collaboration: Work closely with EYFS teachers and colleagues to create a positive and engaging learning atmosphere.
Individualized Support: Provide additional support to children who may require extra assistance in their learning journey.
Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with parents and guardians, providing updates on children's progress and well-being.
Health and Safety: Adhere to health and safety policies, ensuring a secure and hazard-free environment for children.
Qualifications:
- Relevant experience working with young children, preferably in an early years setting.
- A passion for early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment.
- Basic understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Working Hours:
The position is available on a full-time or part-time basis, providing flexibility between the hours of 8:00 am and 5:30 pm.
