Fabric Engineer

**Job Title: Mobile Fabric Engineer - Reactive and Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM)**

**Location:** Reading and surrounding areas

**Working Hours:** Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 17:00

**Responsibilities:**
- Execute reactive and planned preventative maintenance tasks at stores within the RG postcodes.
- Undertake repairs, inspections, and general fabric maintenance duties.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with on-site teams to resolve issues efficiently.

**Key Requirements:**
- Proven experience in fabric maintenance, with a focus on reactive and PPM tasks.
- Competency in using mobile tools and applications for job tracking.
- Familiarity with retail environments is advantageous.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

**Working Conditions:**
- Provided with a van and fuel card for work-related travel.
- On-call duty at a rate of 1 in 6, with standby compensation at £120 for the week with additional for call outs.
- Unpaid 30 minutes of travel each way (not included in working hours).
- Overtime rates: Time and a half on weekdays after 5 pm and Saturdays before 1 pm. Double time on Sundays, bank holidays, and all other times.
