Fabricator - Press-Brake Operatorwith office admin experience please!

Wickford, Essex

Full time, Permanent position

Pay: £12.50 per hour equating to £24,375 per annum / Hours: 9:00am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday's

Our welcoming Client is currently seeking an experienced Fabricator with an opportunity to work within the office area too! They are an established metal stockist/fabricating company based in Wickford, Essex.

Key Responsibilities:

• Metal fabrication services: cutting, folding and welding
  
• Operate press-brake machine

• Answering phone calls, emails.

• Messaging on ecommerce websites.

• Pricing and quoting jobs for customers

• General office work also needed along with requirements to fabricate metal on the occasional basis.

*** This role is a 50% Office / 50% Production Position ***

Qualifications, Experience and Skills required:

• Good IT Skills - able to use emails/word and excel - basic level
• Good Telephone and communication skills
• Able and willing to drive
• Able to know the basic with operating/using a press-brake machine
• Confidence when speaking and quoting for customers
• General engineering/fabricating experience and knowledge working with sheet metals - minimum of 2 years required
• Happily and confidently use Microsoft Word & Excel - basic level
• Previous experience with ecommerce selling on Ebay/Amazon would be preferred, not essential
