We have opportunities for people who specialise in, Architectural Metalwork, Sheet Metalwork, Structural Steel, Fabrication and Installation based at locations such as Leeds, Cardiff, Essex, Derbyshire, South West London, Stevenage and Southam, South Coast.
Our projects include the design, fabrication and installation of stairs, balustrades, handrails, balconies, and canopies. We also undertake secondary structural steelwork. We supply quality metalwork to our partners in the construction industry and form a vital part of the supply chain always aiming to deliver to the highest quality, on time and within budget.
Responsibilities Include:
- Fabrication and Welding of architectural metalwork projects including balustrades, stairs, railings, gates, balconies & secondary steelwork etc.
- To ensure that area of work is maintained safe and orderly.
Experience & Qualifications
- The ability to read CAD drawings.
- The ability to create your own cutting lists from information provided on drawings.
- Capable of tacking together your own steel fabricated work.
- Being familiar with the safe use of drilling machines, saws, ironworker, and hot works.
- Fully conversed in the use of a MIG welding plant.
- Ability to work unsupervised, use initiative in solving problems.
- Capable to work as an effective team member.
- Capable to fabricate with stainless steel and tack weld using the TIG weld process (desirable)
- Previous experience driving forklifts (desirable)
- In possession of a CSCS card (desirable)
