SalaryWe are currently working with a college based in Cambridge who are searching for a Facilities Assistant to join their busy team on a full-time, permanent basis.
They’re ideally looking for someone who has previous experience or a qualification in electrical or plumbing works with the opportunity to potentially specialise with the Facilities team in the future.
Typical duties would include:
- Supporting the facilities team to make sure the building and site runs as expected, ensuring that any agreed works have been carried out.
- Acting as one of the main points of contact for any building or site queries.
- Monitoring and carrying out minor maintenance where needed.
- Assisting with movement of furniture and equipment around the offices.
The successful candidate:
- Previous experience working within facilities, maintenance or in a similar proactive hands on position.
- Hardworking and enjoys working as part of a wider team.
- Good communication skills
- Proficient IT skills and able to use MS Office.
