This is a great opportunity for a Van Driver to join a busy Production team based at the Head Office in Leicestershire. Working for a forward-thinking company this role would be ideal for someone who wants to develop their current skill set and be part of a bigger team.
THE ROLE OF A FACILITIES ASSISTANT/DRIVER
- The successful candidate will be joining a busy Production team.
- Be able to securely wrap all samples, including heavy furniture (sofas, beds, cabinets, etc).
- Transport samples between all four sites using the company van as and when required.
- Load and unload the van daily.
- Organising the collection, of returns and equipment for the production team.
- Use the database, to register products onto the system ready to transport between locations.
- Produce accurate delivery notes for deliveries
- Organise and book 3rd party deliveries where required.
THE RIGHT MAINTENANCE ASSISTANT
- Full UK driving licence essential.
- Experience in driving a van would be desired.
- Must be physically fit due to the heavy lifting of samples.
- Mac/ PC literate & have some level of experience in data input.
- Have excellent attention to detail and organisation skills.
- Demonstrate the ability to work within health & safety guidelines.
