Mersea Outdoors is a large centre in a wonderful coastal setting with views across the Blackwater Estuary. Mersea offers a vast selection of both land and water-based activities.
The Role
The Facilities Assistant is responsible for ensuring that the premises, facilities and resources are suitable for use; and for ensuring a safe and clean environment for staff and customers.
Essex Outdoors is Essex County Council's provider of residential outdoor activities. The centres provide high quality outdoor education to the young people of Essex and the wider community.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for organising and carrying out preparation, cleaning and maintenance of the centre to ensure an efficient and effective service is provided for staff and customers
- Ensuring Health & Safety standards are met in accordance with specifications.
- Specific individual and shared targets and objectives are defined annually within the performance management framework.
