Morson Talent are partnering with a key FM customer, JLL, providing full support as a Facilities Coordinator to one of their prestigious accounts that have a global presence in the supply chain industry. We are looking for candidates expertise in this field with a strong work ethic and be relied on of any duties - no two days will be the same.
Job Duties:- Coordinate and oversee the day-to-day operations of the facilities department
- Maintain and update facility records, including maintenance logs, inventory, and service contracts
- Assist in the planning and execution of facility maintenance and improvement projects
- Respond to and resolve facility-related issues and emergencies in a timely manner
- Schedule and supervise maintenance and repair activities, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
- Manage vendor relationships and ensure quality service delivery
- Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance needs and address them promptly
- Assist in the development and implementation of facility policies and procedures
- Collaborate with other departments to support their facility needs and ensure a safe and functional work environment
- Prepare reports and presentations on facility operations and budgetary matters
- Proven experience as a Facilities Coordinator or similar role
- Strong knowledge of facility management principles and best practises
- Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in using facility management software and MS Office Suite
- Ability to prioritise tasks and work under pressure
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations
- Being a key team player and a dedicated attribute
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in facility coordination or a similar role.
The role may involve some physical activity, such as inspecting and supervising maintenance work. The Facilities Coordinator may need to work outside of regular office hours to address emergencies or urgent facility-related matters.
What's on offer?- Up to £35,000 annual salary, based on 40 hours per week
- 3-months' contract, scope to extension or become permanent
- Monday - Friday, 8.30am - 5pm fully on-site 5 days per week
