Our client, a commercial office space provider is looking for a Facilities Co-ordinator to join the Facilities management team on a permanent basis.
Reporting into the Facilities Manager, the main purpose of the role is to liaise with the maintenance operatives and local contractors to ensure the offices are kept in good order and arranging repairs where required. Other duties include;
- Continuingly liaising with contractors to ensure any work is completed correctly and on time.
- Obtaining quotes from contractors, and at times sourcing new contractors.
- Providing costs to the Deposits Team at the end of the works.
- Ensure all relevant certificates are issued and paperwork is correct and complete.
Although experience within facilities would be advantageous, it is not essential. What is important is to have the ability to build relations with the local contractors and the maintenance team and be a solid and confident communicator with the ability to think for yourself.
